This evening was to benefit our good friend, Dawn's father, Mark. Who recently found out he has cancer of the lungs. When asked to go, a month ago, I myself wanted to go not only to support my friend, but for a personal reason. My father also suffers from lung cancer. We found out last October. So, this hit home. At the benefit, there were items being autctioned off. Since my father owns a locksmith Shop, with really nice safes, I thought why not ask my dad for a small gift certificate. He did more than that...He donated a safe, a digital fire proof, safe. Which, I was really glad about.  The safe ended up bringing in the most money, for the great cause. We had a wonderful evening. I though about my father, the whole night, and how he is doing. Dawn's dad couldn't make it. We are trying to get our Dad's together, they'd be a hoot, together. They both fought  of our country, and have this in common, they are the best fathers'in the universe!!! We will beat this, Mark and Bill!
